"It's more of a take out place and eat in but the food is delicious. Their Jerk Chicken, Curry Goat and Curry Chicken are really good."
"The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. We had the oxtail and the jerk chicken with the rice and peas, cabbage and sweet plantains. The meat and the chicken were beautifully seasoned. I will definitely order from there again."
"Great food and friendly service which, to be honest, I don't always get at Jamaican restaurants, so I appreciate it here. Stew chicken is good but you are getting 3 pieces of chicken, 4 if they're feeling generous. No oxtail gravy on anything unless you're getting oxtail, so don't even ask. Lol. Aside from that, food is delicious."
"I bought a red snapper dinner that came with a small portion of rice and cabbage. The fish tasted very bland that I had to sprinkle salt on it. I was promised a big size fish and instead aI received a small fish. This meal definitely was not worth $30.00. I also purchased a slice of black cake it was very dry. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone nor will I ever eat here again."
"So I ordered a beef patty, jerk chicken, rice and peas and plantains. For starters, they don’t sell white meat AT ALL. Whether curry, jerk, or bbq, everything is dark meat. Strike one. So I ask the lady to just give me thighs. In my photos you can see she gave me ONE thigh. Cut in half. Mostly bone, no meat. I asked for gravy on my rice and she asked which kind. I asked for a spoon of oxtail gravy and she said I couldn’t have that. Honestly, if she had said I had to pay extra I would’ve. But she didn’t even offer that option. Then she gives me TWO tiny plantain. So I ask her to give me extra and that I will pay for the extra. She says “would you like 3 for a $1?” So I say…sure. She gives me ONE extra plantain. As in, she’s gonna charge me a dollar to add ONE to the original 2 she gave me. The beef patty was mild bc they don’t carry spicy. Also wack for that. The meat in the patty as you can see, looks like bully beef/corn beef. Very mushy and paste like. When I tell you the jerk chicken had NO SPICE i mean it. Not spicy at all. The rice and peas had no coconut in it. I kept finding broken bone pieces in the rice too. My wife ordered a veggie patty with coco bread and the coco bread had no coconut taste either. We are never coming here again. They’re cheap in quantity and cheap in service. I’ll happily drive to brooklyn to the real deal. Even Golden Krust is better than this."
