"Amazing place, so glad we found it! My husband said it was the best vegan meal he’s ever eaten. We got the Dan Dan noodles and the kung pao tofu. Great for vegans and non vegans alike."
"Great tasting for vegan food. A little on the too-rich/strong side but still a 4 ⭐ for me. Would be a great option for a vegetarian/vegan outing in the area."
"Food is really amazing. The flavors are so robust. This isn't just a vegan Chinese place. This is amazing food regardless of the dietary restrictions. We had the General Tso Mushrooms, the scallion pancake, the cold sesame noodles, the chili oil cucumbers, the dry pot style tofu and veg, and the cumin style tofu. Everything was really good and the waiter did an awesome job helping us decide what we should get. Both entrees were spicy though... but items come out as they are ready and so that helped to mix it up. I'd love to try all new stuff next time. We had a reservation and we got there early. Thankfully they were able to seat us early. The place was packed the whole time. Reservations are a good idea."
"I visited the location on Bowery around 6pm on a Sunday. It was nice outside but fairly empty for a Sunday which was fine by me. I’m not vegan but the food was really good. The pricing is even better. I had the best lomein I’ve ever had my entire life. We will definitely be back. I wish it was closer to me."
"Full moon rising! Totally delicious mapo tofu and den den mein. I really enjoyed the peanutty vibes of the den den mein and the mouth numbing qualities of the soft mapo tofu. Hot but definitely not too challenging. Upon polishing off the dishes my insides felt like I’d been sat in a spice sauna, perfect for a rainy grey day in the East Village. The restaurant itself is a cosy bijou nook bathed in pink ambient light and adorned with gashapon style nik naks. Hip without pretension, hot without perspiration. Recommended."
