"This is a very dissappointing korean food place.. we arrived at 8pm, we ordered a bibimbap. Where can you find bibimbap where the rice is served separately and the ingredients are like a salad bowl? Bibimbap consists of a sunny side up egg. Here it is an over fried egg. It also didnt have any shitake mushrooms. No tofu. Instead it was just a lettuce, cucumber, carrots, slices of bulgogi beef,no bean sprouts The bibimbap was served over a bed of lettuce like a salad. It is not a salad bowl. The staff argued they have always served it like this, telling us that their working for 17years in the shop. but i find that hard to believe considering i have ordered this dish many times and have never seen this presentation. They claimed only the hot stone bowl was served over rice. Even if that was the case, the bowl of lettuce should not have been there. There is a small dining area. We asked for plates since we were sharing two dishes, but the cashier told us they were not allowed to give out plates. They gave us 2 takeout bowls instead, the kind you would use for a small soup. Meanwhile, the staff was sitting at a table in the back using plates, but customers are not allowed?!? They dont know how to cook a korean food. I would not recommend this place. It was a waste coming here. A very bad experience. The staff should not argue with the customer when they clearly did not make the food properly. Hello!! We know better the ingredients."
"Cozy place, lots of seating available. Bathroom for paying customers available, always nice. Food is fantastic each time. I usually get the teriyaki chicken box, for ~19$. Brought my buddies who swear by their bowls and soups. Service is good, friendly staff for the most part. Never had an issue."
"A nice bustling small place, grab you seat when you can. I had the Bulgolgi and Tofu w. Ginger scallionslunch special with Jab-chae noodles, a yummy sweetness. The Sac Sac juice was really good, like a tart aloe juice."
"had dinner to stay (teriyaki chicken over rice bowl) came with a free small side of kimchi and some daikon. it was very excellent !"
"The staff is very friendly. The service is really quick! No more than a 10 minute wait for my food. Not too pricey for midtown and they also offer lunch special on some days for certain times. The food was delicious and they have plenty of tables. Lots of options for food too!"
