"Upper West side Manhattan has no lack of great places to eat. This corner has Ethiopian, Chinese, Indian and Vietnamese. Miss Saigon is a modern, clean restaurant with plenty of seating. Great food and reasonable pricing. I had a Vietnamese green papaya salad. My wife and her sisters had drunken noodle and spring rolls. We finished of with crispy banana and Vietnamese coffee. If you are doing laundry, take a break next door and have some great Vietnamese food."

"4.5 stars We ordered beef pho, pad Thai with basil and shrimp, and banana crisp. The beef soup base was flavorful but not too oily. The stir fry pad Thai was more saucy but not too salty. I loved banana crisp as well, the combination of icy gelato with fried egg roll wraps. We came here late at night so there was plenty of room. Servers here were pretty nice. I felt welcomed and satisfied. Recommended for someone who was looking for homemade Vietnamese food!"

"Miss Saigon has a sleek interior with bright banquette seating. For lunch, I ordered the hot and sour soup ($5.95 plus tax) which had nice fresh vegetables and herbs. However, the sweetness from the pineapple chunks masked the sour tang of the broth. They certainly did not skimp on the shrimp for the drunken noodles ($14.95 plus tax) but it could have been spicier and slightly less oily."

"vvvvvvvery very very good food. i had only dipped in here for its quietude and burnt orange booths and wifi after a long day out alone far from home, comfortable in the Tuesday emptiness of this long-roomed restaurant. I didn’t expect such a gourmet turnout! Jesus christ! This food is VERY good. The hot and sour shrimp soup is so fresh and bright and veggie filled and complex, and the spring rolls are ssssssssssssssso good. So crispy and dimensional and they come with the big lettuce pieces. I also love how quiet it is in here on a Tuesday at 8, as a singular person who came in to write on their laptop, but I hope theyre busier usually. They are ten star!!!! I’m gonna bring my dad here next time he’s in the city, yknow? Like they’re that sort of reliably impressive wowowsotasty kind of place. Plus these orange booths! Veeery coolbeautiful. I like the broad and silent tiled walls too. It must be busy here on fridays but i feel lucky to have a quiet tuesday in late september alone."
