"What started out as a nice outing, quickly turned into being a night of sub-par service. The waitresses were very nice and helpful, and most of the food came out fairly fast, which was very impressive. All that quickly ended as one person from our partys meal took give or take 30 min (whos counting until the 10 mark) to come out. Mind you, it was a deli sandwich and a drink, not something that required a line of michilen star chefs and time to marinate. The bad turned to worse when it took the waitresses a while to get the dessert menue to us, and even longer for it to come out. When it did come out, the deep-fried oreos didn't have ice cream on the side as it should have, and the churros looked like they were thrown on a plate, with the ice cream already melting. The last partys desert wasn't available, which is OK, but it took them like 20 min to tell us that. I wouldn't usually be all Karen like about the small details, but this is supposed to be a nicer place, and that's what we intended to pay for. The seating was very tight, and it seemed that there was a bit of a wait filling up. My overall review of this place is that the food is good, nice variety, and a bunch of unique options. the prices are resonable, and I would recommend take out from here. In-house eating is not something I recommend. Although the waitresses were friendly (can't say the same about the waiters, one kept on bumping into a stroller parked next to our table), the in-house just wasn't it. Stay humble."
"One of the best kosher food I had. Big portions for cheap prices. Open kitchen, delicious non alcoholic drinks. Seat and tables not so clean, staff a bit stressed. But food is absolutely mouth-watering! Highly recommend."
"Ordered chicken soup, and I have to say, this chicken soup has never been close to a chicken or close to a soup - it was a potato garlic concoction. I ordered the humble schnitzel and was expecting a nice, normal sandwich, since it costs over $20, but I got one piece of schnitzel without the barbecue sauce or iceberg lettuce as it says on the menu. I ordered a drink and never got it. When we finished eating and asked for the check, the waiter finally came to us and told us they're out of it. I wouldn't go back."
"The food is absolutely amazing especially for the price. The food came really quickly. The food was also really filling. It's definitely worth doing to. Also I would definitely recommend the Queen Anne fries."
"Relatively new to the Teaneck area is this small and casual Kosher deli and burger cafe. I stopped in mid afternoon on Sunday for their corned beef sandwich. Called the 'Jerry' it has a generous portion of homemade corned beef on grilled marble rye with a tasty remoulade sauce sauce and red slaw. Delicious. It couldn't be more tender. (Also available with pastrami.) Lots of other good stuff on the menu. I'll be back for the Queen Anne's fries that have pastrami burnt ends, pickled red onions and their Humble sauce. Looked awful good as do their salads and number of other menu items. Sal, the involved and cordial owner, stopped by to chat and assure all was good. Heartening to see interested management. It's a BYOB establishment."
