All the employees are ugly and have bad attitudes smh they barely ever have fried chicken and when they do they have specific instructions on who and how to sell it. Go to golden crust instead.matter fact dacks cuisine in the Bronx has GREAT food & even better customer service!"

"The food is very good. Well seasoned and good portions. There’s a good variety to choose from but it’s not always available. Rasta pasta & shrimp pasta are only available in the evenings along with other varieties of seafood. Service is hit and miss. Some are great with it and others…. Not so much. Overall, if you like good Jamaican food you should check this place out"

"This Jamaican Restaurant is my favorite place in Mt. Vernon to eat Caribbean Cuisine. The food is always Hot & Ready.. the flavors are always on-point, and their selections of beverages never disappoint. My favorite dishes that keep me returning are the Oxtail, The Stewed Chicken, and the Curried Chicken."

"This place was ok. I like to see Black owned businesses in predominantly Black neighborhoods, so that’s a plus. Upon walking in, the aromas of all the food and what smelled like chicken frying turned my stomach. That’s not necessarily their fault, it is a restaurant, but something about the presentation felt worn and like it could all use some refreshment. The staff was courteous. I ordered curry chicken with white rice, vegetables and a fried dumpling. Overall it was tasty but the remnants of the oil it had been cooked in overshadowed the flavor a few times. Not sure I’ll be back, but I enjoy the lunch for them most part."
