"Optimum wrongfully paid my May bill with someone else’s bank account. I warned them about this when I seen my account was fully paid. A month later, I’m being forced to pay almost $1,000 to keep my service on because they now realize that mistake and now I am stuck with paying for it. The do not listen and are always screwing me with past due charges and threats of disconnecting service . Only on one income until September starts B.S."

"I was only there to return a modem after canceling their absolutely ridiculous service. As expected the customer service was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL IN STORE JUST AS IT WAS ON THE PHONE."

"Thought I might need a replacement or repair, but the representative spotted something with the outer shell of the phone and took care of it. She was pleasant and suggested a protective case, which I purchased. Also, the long line moved rather quickly, a nice surprise."

"If you think this optimum store provides the typical services that any cable provider store, such as Xifinity, would do, you are mistaken. I brought my own Netgear modem to this store, the modem that I just bought from BestBuy, the model is listed supported by Optimum. I brought the modem to the store to have its activated with my account. That is how Xfinity works. To my supprise , the stuff of this optimum store told me they don't provide this service, unless I rent a Optimum modem from them. They gave me a tech support phone number to call, the phone number does not even work. This has to be the most helpless optimum store I have seen."

"My family is leaving Optimum for good! The worst customer service, either on the phone or in person. I spoke to at least 12 representatives in two days, each one said different things as if they have no record of my last conversation. The Escalation Department is chaotic. Their promises were non-existant. The in person staff seemed not happy to help but willing to chat with each other with excitement. As a new member, leaving Optimum is the best decision we made."
