"The Fish Cove has been around for years but the food and service are just as good as it was on day one. Joe and his staff are helpful, efficient and even amusing at times, as you wait for your order. They love what they do and it shows! My usual fare is a piece of Haddock, fried mushrooms and Mac salad. The fish and mushrooms are lightly battered, fried to perfection and never greasy. The Mac salad is one of my faves with just a touch of sweetness that pairs well with the mayo and carrots. The menu has far more on it and they also do offer baked fish that is tender and flaky but without the added calories from being fried. If you love fish this is the place to go! Just be warned that Friday's, especially during Lent, are super busy. Even so, the staff gets you and your order out quickly. Just a reminder that the restaurant accepts cash only but there is an ATM inside as well as several banks surrounding the area to get cash from."
