"Beautiful view...great atmosphere. Service was lacking. Was reprimanded for leaning against my husband in the chaise lounge area with my ariat boots touching the precious couch. We were here celebrating our 31st anniversary staying at 50 bowery hotel. Having an intimate conversation until we were interrupted by someone that wasn't even our server, telling me to sit up and remove my feet from the chaise. I didn't even understand at first what she was saying. I always want to respect every place I visit...and leave better than what I find. We left early....feeling disrespected. Please remove the lounge furniture if you don't want people to lounge."
