Copacabana Nightclub

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! This “new” Copacabana is NOWHERE near what the old one use to be. The “owner” or whatever he is, is an absolute garbage human being whole not only lied about reserving a table (not mentioning that you needed to purchase a $400-$1000 bottle of alcohol in order to go to the section, which by the way was very crammed), but also lied about the menu. There were lower priced options that were not posted on the menu. And then when we asked for the price of hookah, one of the owners staff members went to confirm with the owner and he literally swatted us away as if we were nothing and beneath him. I paid for everything and everyone (7 people total and I had no issue paying, money wasn’t the problem). The problem was the misconception and misleading reservation terms, the owners attitude, the hidden menu no one apparently knows about and the only other option to get in was $40.00 a person. NEVER AGAIN will I go back here. If you remember the old Copacabana, I will tell you with 100% truth, it is NOT the same anymore. Yes, this was my personal experience but read the other reviews, I’m not the only one."

"Horrible outdated place, with rude staff, atrocious management and unfriendly attitude. I will never step my foot there again! My company left this “club” after 30 minutes. We were invited for an event that was supposed to start at 7 pm and after letting us in initially by one security person, were rushed outside to wait there in a freezing weather for 30 minutes by another security member because “ they were running late”. One person in our company was 83 yo who had problem standing for a prolong period of time and we’d already let our driver leave . All we asked for is to wait inside until they were ready to let everyone in and after back and forth rude interaction with a manager we decided to leave that atrocious place . You don’t treat clients that paid 50$ -100$ for general admission per person like dirt, especially if it was the Club’s fault they weren’t ready on time for the event. If I could put zero stars- I would."

"We came here on a slow night & they wanted to charge us a cover entrance. Then they had the nerve to say that whatever drinks we ordered could be put towards a bottle. WE NEVER STATED WE WERE GONNA GET A BOTTLE. We just wanted to get only drinks. Don’t waste your time or money. Music sounded wack from the entrance."

"Went on a Saturday night. They have lessons around 9. The staff were friendly, everyone there seems like they’re there to have a good time. At first it seemed like it was mostly couples at the beginning of the night, but as it got later, there were more people that came in groups. People seemed nice and there is a nice dance floor. I liked the decor throughout. Music is a mix of salsa, bachata and merengue. The crowd was mixed there were people in their 30s and up. I had fun. Looking forward to going again."

"We were like 15 people who went here for Saturday night and we were not sure how we felt about going here looking at the photos. But one of my friend said that he has been here and ilwe will have a good time. We trusted him and went here and had absolutely amazing time. The music they played was nice but more then that the crowd was real nice. Would 100% go back here again"
