"Do not take your kids here if you are an honest and trustworthy person! I LOVED the different activities that they did with the kids, that was no problem at all. BUT they are NOT professional when it comes to people transferring out of the facility. I had made a mistake and forgot to let them know that my child was being taken to Pittsburgh for a neurology appointment. I had already forgotten to tell them that she was sick twice in the prior few weeks, and was given a fair warning. When I got back from Pittsburgh, I received a text message from the daycare explaining that they would not be picking them up from school anymore due to the lack of communication. I understood completely. I called them and begged them to give me one more chance. Courtney denied the request and I completely understood and just told them that I would have to find another facility because I couldn't leave work everyday to pick them up and drop them off. I told them I would communicate every step of the way with them so that they wouldn't be surprised. This is Wednesday. They specifically asked me if they would be coming to the daycare the rest of that week. I explicitly explained more than once that Friday would be their last day. When I got there to drop off on Friday, they stated that they could not be there because they were already off the roster because of ELRC, they told me they had no control over the situation. It definitely would have been nice to be warned the day before given that their manager apparently informed the staff the day before that they couldn't attend. All of them had my number and could have at least given me a heads up. They also tried to say that I was rude to staff in front of children, which I was not, I was audibly irritated in my tone, which is understandable given the situation, but was in no way shape or form disrespectful. Plus it was impossible to be in front of children as it was a phone call because the doors were locked. I finally got a hold of ELRC and they informed me that the daycare SPECIFICALLY requested that Thursday be their last day. It all worked out for me in the end. I found a better place for my kids and didn't end up losing my job due to my support system. I am beyond blessed, but wanted to share my story so that someone else's respect and communication does not get met with such malicious and disrespectful behavior."
