Reviews of Elevate Trampoline Park (Formerly Flying Squirrel)
"My neighbor kids are like my nieces. They love going there. They have a good time. I like it because they're safe and I know I can relax and they can have fun. They come very highly recommended very bring your family you will have a wonderful time."
"A great place - very spacious with lots of activities. The kids and adults in our group had a tremendous time!"
"Not enough plus sized trampolines. They need chairs for plus sized people. I shouldn’t be worried about breaking the chairs when I sit. As a 450 pound woman, I deserve to feel comfortable sitting. The tables couldn’t hold me. Good food tho 10/10. I also couldn’t fit through the door to the entrance."
"Honestly, I was pretty unimpressed with Elevate. I have a two year old and he can't jump alone. There is no actual supervised little kid area (there's a small area with two trampolines and a pit with foam, but not much- bigger kids were in it when we went swinging stuff around. So I had to pay $16 to "jump" with him. We paid $54 altogether for just an hour because we have a two and four year old who can't be alone while on the trampolines. The place was packed, a lot of wild older kids, and I only saw three staff supervising all of the jump areas, so we couldn't be far from our little ones. I like to support local, but Vertical Jump is cheaper, cleaner, has more games (and is actually lit- not sure why so many lights were off at Elevate) and the staff is more attentive. The place also has a toddler area. We most likely won't be back to Elevate. Just an honest review from a parent who has seen both jump parks."
"This is highly unusual detailed review if you read the whole thing you will understand why. I will arrive about 20 minutes ahead of family I will look for obvious health ,life ,safety , fire or building code violations , determine the entrances and exits any obstacles to them , I format a safety plan in case of any kind emergency how and wear to evacuate . It was not welcome here I was not welcome here. They are wheelchair accesible cut by there door large mantrap design with automatic doors , inner doors consist of 2 sets of double doors, the first set is locked the second set open immediately upon entering your are in a chained funnel forcing you to go left there are registration and liability waiver computers on your left , you must fill that out before paying and getting your socks to use the trampolines . There are no pandemic precautions , the staff doesn’t wear masks and during my 2 hours and 20 minute visit I saw no personnel ever use the single bottle of hand sanitizer ,there was no plexi glass barriers anywhere including food prep . There is no open WIfi I did find more than 3 locked internal WIFI . There is virtually no visible security first aid BLS or AED anywhere the public can access, I did not see any cleaning or maintence activities. The do an eating area and food service area the prices are rather high but the kids enjoyed the drinks and Icees . There are bathrooms center rear a water fountain and some of those popular paid chair massage loungers to the right of the bathrooms ,there is one marked emergency exit on the center of the east wall . I did see some woman doing somersaults and some young men doing faux martial arts and wrestling moves , obviously a trampoline prevents you being seriously hurt if something doesn’t go as planned ,I saw and heard no complaints about the trampolines . Here’s where it gets crazy I did my once around the room by the time I got back to the front I was accosted “your not a paying customer , why are you here” I address that saying the family hasn’t arrived yet next thing “ we saw a your camera flash and we think you took illegal ,immoral ,rude and creepy photographs of customers you have to delete them or leave “ knowing my rights and the law my unspoken reaction was this person is “unbalanced “ she only became more belligerent with each passing minute until I perfomatively placed my photographs in delete file , I being a photojournalist and conflict resolution specialist know the law , my rights, and ethics as well as deescalation but this was not the end I had 6 more ignorant people spouting the same rubbish , and when my kids and grand kids got there I took there pictures , they were accosted and interrogated by 2 other employees who hadn’t talked to me ,do they know me ,why was I here , did I have consent to photograph them .my family was obviously confused what the problem was . By the time we about ready to prepare to leave I got another “staff” again no ID no uniform no sign she was anything who alternatively claimed both head of security and security talk to me , at one point accusing me of being disrespectful , I advised “the ink on my degrees was older than she was , she doesn’t need to think , if I am going to be disrespectful she will absolutely know it in her soul” her remarks where uninformed especially considering she wasn’t even working when this allegedly took place , she asked me for my ID and immediately said but you probably won’t give it , each and every person that accosted me stared right it but didn’t see it . Well talking to each of these people I tapped out Morse code performed the discrete universal hand signal I need help ,domestic abuse ,more than 25 times and because these people were in crises , it was all recorded on my body cam and I activated my ACLU live stream on my device so them trying to enforce a non existent law and right by demanding they be allowed to break the actual law and my rights . All of the people representing that business were poorly trained in universal hospitality industry , safety security ."
