"Had been looking forward to this incline for a few weeks - travelling from Bloomington, indiana - this was the first thing we did when we rolled in Friday night. First, it took about 30 minutes to find the parking or see the sign for parking to begin with - totally my fault, but frustrating regardless. Walk the half mile and up the stairs to get tickets for the incline and the young man rudely pipes up that it is cash only and there is no ATM. We go back to the car for cash. Bring back cash and he tells us it has to be exact change. His suggestion was to download the app and pay online. We do that. While doing that, a couple walks in and he tells them there is an ATM upstairs. He lets them on and just tells them to bring the ticket back with payment. WHAT??? Not sure why he couldn't do that for us especially since he knew that we had to walk back to the car and back! So frustrating and a bit discriminatory, I felt. During all of this - downloading the app and purchasing tickets - we hear him through the glass yelling at what sound to be his current girlfriend about her accusing him of being with his ex-girlfriend Shayla - who he swears he hasn't seen in over a year. He was playing X-box or Playstation - arguing with his girlfriend loudly and providing the worst service I have ever experienced. I just wanted to ride the incline and enjoy our first activity for the weekend in Pittsburgh. We didn't let him ruin our night but I do think he needs some lessons on customer service! Rude, not helpful, unprofessional and discriminatory. Told him good luck with the Shayla thing when we left! Oh, and the views were great!"
"Amazing ride and even better views."
