"This governing body should be run by citizens who use its services. It's unique among local public utilities for being administered by ppl who don't need to avail themselves of it. Routes would probably be drawn differently & vehicle drivers would certainly be held to higher standards of discipline were those who use the services in charge. The executives don't have to care, so they evidently care little."
"If I could give a no star review I would. Drivers are not situationally aware of anything outside thier 10 and 2, that is on a good day. Time schedule are flexible and ever shifting, and passangers need to adhere to that, however, that is not a given standard drivers stand up to. Bus drivers do not care for anything standing outside the immediate view once stopping and opening up the door (if they even do that). And if a driver is early (route 23 for example) And noone is at the specific stop (non sheltered) and within a door view from the driver seat, they will leave, regardless of how many feet you are away or how early it is from the designated inbound/outbound time. Clearly, anyone employed by this institution cares not about the greater good of the population. And if they do, they lack the gull to step up and promote the changes needed to provide an optimal service to the community."
"I agree that EMTA needs to either fire or resign some of these ignorant, rude, and ugly attitude bus drivers. no respect or manners at all. i don't see why they hire a** holes like this. if you don't like your job then quit if you are that miserable. I'm a Penn State Student and i have to have a sticker on my ID Badge in order to get on? which i find this out that until today. . this rude chunky latin woman with glasses that drives the route 25 bus was so rude. i was cool, calm and collective until she starts saying "were not gonna start this again" etcetera. i ain't ever spoke to or know of this woman ever in my life for her to judge me and try to embarrass me in front of everyone on the bus. you just can't talk to anyone in any type of way because you never know what people are going through and how they will react. it seems like the EMTA never do anything about complaints. they just listen to your voicemail and don't return the call. i wouldn't be surprised if they don't take action into these complaints. they are a sorry and horrible excuse for a bus company. i most likely won't ever catch the bus again."
"I would rate this bus service 0 stars!! The drivers are extremely rude. They pass you for no reason. They drive extremely ridiclous. Either they drive to fast or to slow. And then when you try to call them they give you even more attitude and act like it's your fault that they passed you. This bus company is in the toilet the fact that they even wanna raise bus fare when nothing has changed with emta,Not to mention the buses are absolutely gross all the time they're so dented up and damaged on the body from multiple accidents this year and last year which clearly shows how bad these drivers are. I could drive better than them! Oh and how about the buses coming late or early all the time. Or them just plain breaking down due to lack of proper fix instead they just let everything break. Like bus 25 that leaks water from the a/c by the door. Or how about the attitude the bus driver gives you when you ask for a day pass or just ask them something period."
"If I could I would give this 0 stars. The bus driver on bus 3 is very rude and she screaming at us about the ticket we had that we got because it had a bent in it and caused a seen and my anxiety level was high she was Unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable the way the way she had made fun of us for her machine that was not working she should not work with people if she can not control herself."
