"It's a boat ramp. There are trails that connect to Erie Bluffs Park. There is a trail that goes to Elk Creek Beach. Not busy at all. People fishing. Quiet spot in nature"
"Needs better maintenance. Channel needs to be made bigger at ramp. Very tight."
"Be careful not to walk up the trail that leads to a white double wide mobile home. Took my 61 year old mom and older sister up there to collect rocks for her rock garden and to see the little waterfall. Got turned around even though the area is small, i'm not super familiar with the area. A trail led up to an older man and woman's house. We were turned around so we had to border the edge of his/her property to get to my car. The man and woman literally stuck his/her 2 dogs on me and my family. We apologized several times, he had no mercy!!! commanding his dogs to rip apart my mom sister and myself. Dogs turned around and ran from us everytime I turned and got ready to fight them off and protect my mom and sis. Luckly the dogs were cowards. As we tried hard to make our way off his property to get to our car, he yelled that he had a double barreled shot gun, as if the dogs weren't enough. They screamed harshly at us the whole long walk back up to my car, "again we were barely bordering there property" almost as though they wanted a reason to get us to turn around engage in an argument and shoot 2 woman and a man for walking on his/her grass at the edge of the property. Called the state police to warn for future attacks and honestly called bc i was upset too, this is wrong!!! state police were no help and very discourteous. So disappointed. Sister was shaking, mom was terrified. Why carve a trail through the weeds that leads to your property as he did? Why not mark it as private property? or violators will be attacked and or shot? exc exc, very disappointed and disgusted. I think they get off on it and lay in wait for a reason to hurt or kill people. Be careful with your kids!!! I don't even want to think about what the dogs would have done if kiddos made a mistake and entered that trail that led to there property line. One reference i have to make a follower of Jesus is Romans 12:19."
