"St John's is truly hell on earth! The lobby is nice but that's it! From the moment you get off the elevator the smell of human waste is overwhelming! The place is DIRTY & RUNDOWN. The nursing staff was lazy, had horrible attitudes & ignored the patients crying for help. Most of the aids, however, were pretty caring but totally overworked. I truly have no idea how this place has not been shut down by the health dept! There is absolutely nothing positive to say, even the billing department (if you can reach them) is awful! Please, please if you care anything about your loved ones don't put them in St John's!"

"Wonderful experience! Staff is amazing and very attentive. Only problem is with the food. Maybe a new chef? I guess it is typical hospital food. Other than that, it’s a great place PT is very good too!!"

"My father and the rest of us, his family, joined the St. Johns Specialty Care family in March of this year, dad began with rehab and transitioned through hospice. I truly do mean family because that is how we were all treated, most of all dad where he enjoyed great care all around. I must say the entire family was amazed at the care and frankly love he received from everyone he was in contact with there from some very special careworkers, nurses, physical therapy, clergy and even administration. We were all very surprised just how content he was with his new surroundings. We cannot thank all of the staff at St. Johns Speciality Care enough for their hard work and dedication. "My mother spent an entire month here receiving therapy and IV antibiotics. The nursing staff was truly amazing, there wasn’t a single time her call light went unanswered, or a staff member didn’t say hello when they walked by her room. They were truly a blessing during such a difficult time! And the Therapy staff were a godsend, they involved me in her therapy to put my mind at easy for when she came home. They made sure she was comfortable, safe, and strong. I can’t say enough thank yous to the amazing staff!"

"We have been working with St. John's for the past several months starting with Respite care and then moving on to Assisted Living. The staff we have worked with are incredible dedicated individuals who truly believe in the good they are doing. The Independent and Assisted living floors have been completely redone and are very inviting. While my Father-in-law complains about the food I believe that is because it is healthy levels of sodium and fats, not what he is used to. My only concerned, also echoed by others, is that the staff is stretched thin. That said, the staff that is there is caring and compassionate. We have been truly blessed here."
