"I’m will not be going there again!! I attended a comedy show recently, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The show itself was only about an hour long, but the worst part was that the waiters kept interrupting to ensure everyone met the two-drink minimum. This constant service during the performance was disruptive—I missed the majority of the jokes because the waitstaff kept going back and forth. To make matters worse, they were still taking drink orders even in the last 10 minutes of the show. The speaker volume was too low, making it difficult to hear the comedian. The two-drink minimum is unreasonable, especially considering that even if you order food, you’re still required to buy two drinks. The prices were outrageous: $7 for a bottle of water, $6.50 for a cup of coke, and $18 for alcoholic drinks. I would have ordered more drinks, but the venue was overcrowded, making it uncomfortable. The table next to me didn’t get served until the last 15 minutes of the show, yet the girls were still required to order two drinks each. Instead of apologizing for the delay, the staff insisted they order or risk being kicked out. It’s ridiculous that customers were penalized for the waitstaff’s mistake."
"First, I called to find out what time the doors would be open for my event since the website gives a vague 30-90 min window. I was told 6...nope. we were standing in the heat, wind and dust until 6:45. The venue was nice, a little cramped, but comfortable. Sitting at the hi-top tables makes it hard to see the stage since the outside chairs are higher than the booth side. It was very warm in the room. Food was good. Service was good. The wait staff did a great job. It was very loud! Almost deafening. Not sure if it was louder because of live music at the attached bar, but our performers were having to shout to be heard over all of the extra noise from the outside and the crowd. Probably wouldn't go back."
"Went there for our friends birthday. There was 12 of us. Probably 20 and the entire place so our friends were more than half of the venue. The comedians were amazing. We were interacting with the comedians, which is what we always do at every comedy show that we have ever been to. I got tapped on the shoulder by the waitress to “tell my party to be quiet” and then. Half of us got cut off from buying alcohol. We all only had one drink before that happened so don’t expect to come there and have fun. Sit in your seat and be quiet and drink water I guess that’s what they want. Explains why there’s no one there. We will be going downtown Phoenix next time like we always do. Now I understand why there was no one there. Here’s a thought make people laugh and serve them Drinks or get a different job"
"Went to go see Pete Lee. Absolutely hilarious. He has a standing engagement here once a month. If you get a chance, check him out. You won't be disappointed."
"Absolutely lovely Comedy Bar in Phoenix located in the bustling hub of downtown. Excellent lineup of comedy shows with VIP seating that is well worth it. You can bypass the line and guarantee yourself a comfortable seat at a table. The serving staff are discreet throughout the show so as not to interrupt the experience and the food and drink are good. I recommend sharing the nachos to start and making sure your entree orders go in before the kitchen closes closer to nine."
