"We hired Surface Design for two separate projects over a 3 year span. The first, was to pour the concrete around our pool, patio and driveway extension, as well as add trees, plants and boulders around our pool. The second project, was to tear out our old landscaping in the front of the house and add in new trees, plants and boulders. There is a reason that we decided to hire them for a second time, and that is because they were extremely professional, thorough, timely and accommodating during our first experience with them. Prior to starting the projects, Landon and Sam provided us with custom designs for each of these spaces, and worked with us to iterate on them as we provided feedback. In some cases, we had no idea what we really wanted, other then the fact that we knew we wanted beds put in certain areas. Surface Design brought a vision to our projects. A vision that we couldn’t completely see ourselves prior to working with them. We really appreciated, and needed that. Not just a contractor to come and complete the labor some work, but also a design consultant to help us create the spaces and bring a vision. Working with them was easy - they communicated effectively, stuck to our agreed upon quote, showed up on time, completed the work on time, and did really good work. They didn’t just complete the job and leave us on our own - they were very responsive when we had questions after the fact regarding maintenance. From the top-down, a great group of people who I would highly recommend, and will hire again when the next project comes along."

"Sam Costa is an artist and a professional in all aspects of his work. He patiently listened to our incomplete ideas and we trusted his vision of redesigning our breezeway, walk and back porch. The job included removing all existing concrete which was wedged between our wooden house and garage. Great care was taken to protect the wood siding. The job was impeccable and completed in a timely manner. The end result greatly enhanced our entry way.
