Reviews
"Turned the wife loose in the store for a couple hours and she was very happy."
"Great place if you are looking for comics. Over 500k in back issues available. They also open the basement collection twice a year, giving you access to over a million. The staff will also call their other stores for you. They also have a warehouse sale. Great way to spend the day mining for backissues"
"Friendly service, older facility, loads of Comic back issues. Nice selection of Funko Pops and various cards as well. Can always get stuff from their other New Dimensions too."
"It took the attendant a little long to see if I needed help, which I did, the whole place just gave off a flea market look and vibe. Not at all organized, but at some point I think someone had at the least good intentions with the place. Everytime I go by it, there's nobody in it. I seriously don't know how they've stayed afloat so long. I don't know enough about comics to give advice on pricing or the quality of the inventory! Sorry."
"I totally agree with everyone talking about the quantity/inventory. This place is super stocked and the basement was organized & awesome during the sale last time I was at it. However, the atmosphere isn’t great… The building kinda seems to be crumbling and the floors are all crusty with broken tiles everywhere. I understand that this is a comic shop & people aren’t here to look at floors, but it’s a bit offputting that the place isn’t taken care of well. I’m not sure if I’ll be returning out of fear for asbestos poisoning… LOL! The walls are covered in cool $5.99 posters, but they’re all super creased and taped to the wall. If you buy one they have to cut it off the wall for you and you’re stuck with the tape on the corners. Kinda hard to want to spend cash on something that appears damaged, you know? Also, the posters in the windows are cool and I know why they’re there but it gives the place a bit of a shady look. The staff was great though. I could hear laughing from the Employees Only area and bits and pieces of conversation that gave the place life, along with 80s/90s rock on the radio. The kid at the register was awkward to talk to, but helpful anyway. Felt very much like the classic comic shop experience, but a bit dirtier. If you can handle it, go for it!"
