"Has more shade and less mud than dog park 1. We've always had a good time here. Most people are good about controlling their dogs and there's plenty of room to run around plus somewhere to sit for owners."
"Pretty nice dog park, it is better maintained then others I have been to in Pittsburgh. Fellow dog owners I have met, have been respectful and respect personal and dog boundaries. I am disappointed that the larger dog area has a pavilion and trees for shade, while the small dog yard doesn't even have trees to offer any shade. They offer fresh drinking water, and for pups to get wet in, and the grass is kept short, so fleas aren't a problem. The large breed area and small breed areas are separated by a fence, so the big guys don't mow the little guys over. Beware, if you own a large dog, there is a terrible mud problem, so bring a towel or two, to cover your seats with. Still a nice park overall."
"First time taking my new 5 year old adopted greyhound (70+ lbs) to a dog park. Overall, the park is large with plenty of space to run. All dogs there seemed to be well socialized as well as my dog, so no issues with dog behavior. However, I do have two issues. One, is the amount of dog feces left behind that people do not pick up (so watch your step). My second issue is that there were at least 10 small dogs in the large dog area. No one was using the small dog area."
"a lot of hillside, but still a very large and nice place. has water in the spring-fall, and shelters/ tables, and small dog area"
