Reviews of The Cascades
"Perfect spot to enjoy Pittsburgh's jazzband 'The Shadyside Project' on a Sunday afternoon in the fall. Great music! Tranquil setting."
"Very nice scenic area. There is a small building with picnic tables in it for some shade and relaxing. There is a also a trail you can walk along."
"Park rangers need to check this place. People were bathing their children in the pools. There were people letting their dog go in the pool by throwing a ball in the pool. I did tell a County Police Officer about what was going on at the pools. He said he would check on it. It is a beautiful place, and I hope you can correct this problem."
"You can still hear traffic but it seems far away, it is very peaceful"
"A beautiful relaxing place behind the Oliver Miller Homestead, located just off the roundabout on Corrigan drive. Small water falls, shallow water amongst beautiful landscaping stone. A lovely scenic area to take pictures, or just sit and listen to the water trickling down the rocks. Handicapped parking above the area makes it accessible, with additional parking located just below it. An enjoyable place to visit."
