"We just toured The Cottage as an event space for a Bridal Shower and we were really impressed! Much bigger than it looked from outside, clean and organized, and enough tables and chairs for about 100 people. Kitchen and bathrooms looked clean but we will probably bring our own soap/paper towels/cleaning supplies. Excited to book this space!"

"We rented it the beginning of January. The place was semi-clean. Lots of lined trash cans provided and most of the outlets work although they tell you to only plug in one appliance per two prong receptacle. The bathroom was the cleanest room in the place but they didn’t install enough paper towels. The kitchen was filthy .. the sink was disgusting, the floor had food on it and the refrigerator needed wiped out …. I tried not to touch the stove. You have to setup and take down all the tables and chairs which are old, heavy, stained, and some have broken locking mechanisms. The floor of the seating area was also filthy …… every time we accidentally dropped something on it … the 5 second rule didn’t apply here !! as the item was covered in hair and dirt. The price is right for a picnic but I can’t imagine having a wedding here unless you bring your own cleaning crew."

"Went to my nephew's 3rd birthday party here. It's easy to get to. If you having a party with elderly guests there is access in the back with a couple of closeby parking spots. It's a short level distance from this small lot to the back door. Along with that the restroom on the main level is updated and a single user lav. Large enough for a wheelchair for sure. There are other restrooms on the upper and lower levels. So the single isn't the only one. But those would require stairs to reach. The kitchen is a good size with a sink and fridge. There is also a large wet bar in the basement area. That area has its own entrance also aside from the steps. Pretty open area down there except to 2 support pillars. It's an old building but it is clean and kept up as much as can be expected for a South Park venue. The play area and playset in the back is big enough to easily handle a kid's party. Overall it's a really nice place to have an event for a small to medium group. It can probably hold a large group. You'd just have to deal with being in multiple floors. It's outdated so I can't give it 5 stars."

"We held a baby shower at the cottage in January.... We were very happy with our choice!!! The hall, kitchen and bathrooms were all very clean. There was quite a bit of snow but the parking lot was clear and the sidewalks all shoveled and salted!! We were very grateful for that!! It was a great choice with the flexibility of the time allowed to be inside and we were able to set up and decorate as well as clean up without time constraints!! The people who assisted in booking the cottage were polite and will informed. We did have a few questions she could not answer but she went and found the answers and called back promptly!! We encountered no problems at all!! We will definately celebrate other occasions here!!"
