Active restoration work is anticipated to continue through fall 2023. Visitors are encouraged to stay on the existing trail system to help preserve the ongoing restoration efforts. Those interested in contributing to forest restoration can participate in volunteer workdays by checking the ALT event calendar for scheduled activities with ALT and the Isaac Walton League.

"This is a great hidden hike through a lesser-known conservatory in the Greater Pittsburgh region. You're likely to be on this trail solo! I didn't hike every path that forked off my main trail, but I will be back to explore more!"

"Newly conserved (at time of this writing) greenspace by Allegheny Land Trust. Established trail network on what is, at times, steep terrain! Adequate parking in new gravel lot. New signage and trail markers, and multiple new wooden benches for sitting along the trails, and at the entry points."
"Beautiful place to hike. Less crowded than South Park. Top loop is very easy and the lower loop will give you a nice workout. The property is owned by Allegheny Land Trust and maintained by volunteers. Please hike out what you bring in."
