Reviews of Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center
"Great experience!!!! My daughter is so in love with the Cuddle a Goat!!! Glad they added something so interactive for the kids. Can't wait for next year"
"I went on Thursday January 11th arriving 0900. Plenty of parking. Entering at the main entrance, you are presented with two immediate options. Go to the Main Giant hall to the right or up the escalator towards other areas and expositions. Signs are present, but poorly marked. Main hall food court was a big but expected disappointment with high prices, small portions and as was the case for my cheese curds, undercooked to the point I bit into some raw dough breading. I specifically went to see and speak to a veteran about farming, that never happened. By the time 1000 rolled around the place was swarming with children as far as the eye could see. It quickly became unbearable walk around comfortably without being rudely bumped or having to hear the screaming from the Un-behaved children. By 1045, I could no longer enjoy walking around the show and had to leave. I think in retrospect, I would have gone on a Monday hoping that the school trips don’t happen until later in the week. Many prized animals to see and get information from the owners. Too bad the chickens were kept home do as to not possibly infect them with the bird flu. The food court is not the only place to get food as the other vendors in the hall by the butter sculpture is."
"There is so much to see and do at the farm show. Paid $15 to park and took a coach bus to the entrance, which was nice. Free admission. Breaded fried mushrooms, milkshakes, corn dogs, and fries were all delicious! Butterfly garden was fun, $4 admission for that. Long line to pet the rabbits and to snuggle goats so we didn't get to do that. You definitely need a whole day to see and explore everything."
"I absolutely love the farm show and this year, it seemed like there were more exhibits and vendors than ever. However, I forgot how busy Friday nights and weekends are. Certain areas of the complex such as the Giant expo center food court and Main hall were so crowded it was nearly impossible to walk and navigate. This really impacted how enjoyable our night was. I arrived at 12:30pm, but between heavy traffic, parking and an extremely slow shuttle system, I didn't set foot in the complex until a few minutes after 2pm. I must've came at the height of arrival along with everyone else because other friends who arrived around 5 and 6pm, while they battled traffic, didn't have nearly as terrible an experience."
"Been going to the farm show for 35 years now and there's nothing to say bad about the place, we can complain about the crowd but that will never change since ppl come from all over the world to come to the farm show. Food was awesome... Milkshakes, fries and mozzarella cubes.."
