"I rented one of these townhomes for exactly one year and I'm glad that I didn't stay a moment longer. It's apparent that these townhomes were built quickly and cheaply. Despite being only 6-ish years old, the townhouse I rented had so many problems. These included: * The air conditioner condenser broke during a hot spell. It took the landlord two weeks to find someone to fix it. * The garage door spring broke, leaving my car trapped inside for the five days it took for the landlord to fix it. * The washing machine broke, but the drain was not assembled correctly, causing a water leak that went through the kitchen ceiling. It took the landlord two weeks to fix the washer and close to two months to get the ceiling and wall fixed. * The furnace was not powerful enough to warm the entire house, so the upstairs could not be heated above 65 degrees on cold days. * Water to the third floor was warm but not hot. * The carpeting job was shoddy. There were visible seams in the middle of the floor and I would regularly find carpet staples sticking out of the carpet. * All of the smoke detectors went dead and had to be replaced (and the landlord tried to tell me that it would take two weeks to get smoke detectors replaced...) There are also some other annoying things about these townhomes. If you live in a townhouse that does not have a garage in front, you have to drag your trash can from the back, around the other townhouses, to the front of the house on garbage collection days (IF they come to pick it up - Vogel was pretty hit or miss here). If you forget to take your trash can back in a timely manner, the HOA may passive-aggressively tape notes to it. Also, the whole complex has an exclusive deal with Armstrong Cable which means that you can't get internet service at a reasonable price - Armstrong charges considerably more than their competitors for standard speeds and there's nothing you can do about it. I also had a neighbor who liked to chain smoke by his garage which meant that I couldn't open any of the windows in the back of my house without the inside smelling like cigarettes. All in all, I wouldn't recommend these townhomes. Although the location is convenient, the poor build quality resulted in constant headaches."
