Shepherds Door Inc
About the Business
Nestled in the heart of Bellevue, PA, The Shepherd’s Door Inc. is more than just a bookstore; it’s a Gospel-centered ministry dedicated to serving our community, one relationship at a time. Our mission extends beyond providing a wide selection of books and essential items; we are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth in our community.Community Focused Programs:
At The Shepherd’s Door, we understand the importance of community support. That’s why we offer programs designed to meet the immediate needs of students who may have had little or nothing to eat at home. By providing nutritious snacks and easily prepared meal items, we offer schools a practical way to respond to the urgent needs of children, ensuring no child goes hungry.Volunteer Opportunities:
Our mission wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated support of volunteers. Operating with just one full-time employee, we rely heavily on the generous donation of time and effort from individuals in our community. If you’re passionate about making a difference and want to help us continue our mission, we invite you to join our volunteer team.Get Involved:

"Shepherd’s Door is a Christian nonprofit that operates a retail store and community programs. I shopped in the store one time. I saw merchandise such as crosses, greeting cards, mugs and cups, chocolates, soaps, home decor, stuffed animals, etcetera. Some products had a Christian theme, and other products were fair-trade. I decided to buy a few items. The cashier spoke nicely to me and accurately processed my transaction. The prices were typical."
"Religious organization undertaking a review drive, pressuring people to proselytize where it's not permitted or desired. If it was a legitimately good store otherwise, they likely wouldn't need to do that. Edit: I'm commenting on the store and the posts. It's annoying and over the top for an at-best average place of business. If you cared about commandments or whatever, you'd follow the guidelines of the platforms you use, and encourage your fans to do the same."
"Great little store with an awesome staff. Found a handmade gift for some friends coming to visit. The gift was a Grand Slam!! Support small business folks! They’re not bad folks, folks. Joe says so! LOL!!"
"Wonderful store. Not many Christian gift stores around and this one was great. Had just what I needed for baptism gifts, but also has wedding gifts, birthday gifts, newborn gifts, crucifix jewelry, books, amulets/pendants, and much more. Besides the Christian items, there is a large selection of fair trade imported crafts and some food items. I bought a beautiful handmade card from Ecuador. Although it is a crucifix, there were other cards for general purpose and other occasions."
"A great little shop with Christian themed merchandise and all things good. Features fair trade goods, Bibles, Communion accessories and other great products!"
