"Just showed up to my appointment and was told they don’t take my insurance. Would have been nice to know that when they called me to ask for my insurance info but no, they expect me to pay for my colonoscopy out of pocket. No!"
"Absolute worst doctor's appointment I have ever experienced. Dr. Brennan was very dismissive and rude. He tried to tell me the conditions I have had since I was a teenager are all weight related or from having children, and told me to eat some cooked vegetables and lose some weight. Told me that since I have gained some weight over the past couple years, that my intestines are obviously working fine. Will not be returning to this practice."
"Saw Emily and was very happy with the care she provided. She was willing to spend time answering my questions and very knowledgeable, took a detailed history, and provided me with multiple treatment options."
"To start the receptionist aren’t very friendly and don’t seem happy to be there. I always have a 20-30 min wait after my scheduled appt time even when it’s the first of the day before seeing anyone. Rachel is very dismissive and I had to repeat myself many times. She disregarded my diagnosis of POTS who I had seen 3 different specialists who confirmed it because I was “too young” and it’s just anxiety or hormones. After stating she didn’t want to do testing on me which I agreed with due to radiation she did nothing to help treat me. She wanted to wait 3 months and give it time to see if it goes away. The number of drs who say this to me and every time it doesn’t go away because when I go to the drs it’s because it’s been happening for a while already"
"To be honest, I really don't like this place. I have been there several times and I have yet to have a positive experience. I only go because I have to for my IBD. Most of the times the people at reception are rude or recalcitrant. If need to schedule an appointment or something I often have to call several times throughout the week before I can reach someone. Most times my phone messages are never returned. The medical staff themselves always feel very dismissive. On occasion I have had to reinterpret test results to them because they didn't take the time to even look over them before our appointments. The only people who have ever made me feel comfortable in this place are the nurses who first take your vitals and check you in. That being said, I have never experienced anything that makes me doubt the validity of the medical expertise being offered here. However, it is hard enough to feel confident and positive about your health when you have a chronic health condition... having to deal with a combination of negative things that make you feel even worse about yourself when you walk out the door is a terrible feeling."
