Ryan Vargo Concrete

"If I could give 0 I would. And the one star I'm giving goes to two of Ryan's workers because they are good. But I can't give anymore. Ryan is extremely unprofessional, he will ghost you, say he's coming and then never come for weeks. We were getting our steps/landing done and removal of what fell of our retaining wall. He told us 2 days and 3rd day (very next day) was supposed to be to take down the mold. Ha. It took literally 2 months without any reason as to why. And we were without steps for a month or so which it very difficult considering we have steep hills as front yard. Which with the mold on for so long, it made the concrete cracked and look terrible. That's when he sent 2 guys 2 months later, after contacting him multiple times and telling him we would go with someone else, he finally sent 2 guys that were awesome. They tried so hard to make it look nice. They were annoyed and not happy with the job but tried their best and we appreciate those 2 and they were very friendly and actually showed up and did what they said they were going to do. He left the road a total mess. Didn't clean anything up and it was like that for 2 months. There was a whole mound of excess concrete on the city road, covering the water shut off/on and once again, that was like that for 2 months. When he came back to finish pouring concrete on the landing part, the steps were already finished and beautiful and then he walked all over them in his wet concrete boots and left a pile of concrete dry on them. I would have watched his every move if we would have known how terrible of a job and worker/owner of a company is. The day he did come back to finish cleaning up, I did sit on the porch and watch him the entire time because he couldn't be trusted. He lied and said that he had talked to my fiance about the job and that it was fine. My fiance never met or seen the man. He won't admit that he screwed up and made it look bad. It's better than before, but it's not how it should look for all the money. Said he couldn't do some things yet I watched him do it once we made him do it. Then he had the audacity to ask for his money as soon as he was done that day, then ghosted until 2 weeks later with an address to send the money. If we could, we would pay him nothing. I seriously have no idea how he has 4.6 star review. I could go on and on about terrible of an experience this was that at this point it's over. He also had concrete cleaned over in the woods by where we have to park our cars( street parking and the trees are not our property)."
