"The job was never completed. Unhappy with the poor communication as well. We had a deck put on two years ago. The railing and spindles were all scratched up. They replaced them with ones equally as scratched up. Pat said they just needed to come by and polish them. Despite many calls, he never did. Then we started demanding that he come and replace the scratched pieces. He started fully ignoring our calls or would text back “don’t have enough men now. Will get to it soon.” Many of these texts over months. Here we are two years later, and I still have scratched spindles and railing. For a $10k deck, you’d think I could have something higher standard. So so disappointed!"

"I paid Pat $10,500 for deck work. The fascia pieces are falling off. This should not be a huge deal for them to correct. I called Pat three times and he never returned the calls. This is disappointing as they noted there was a lifetime warranty that they appear unwilling to honor. I would not use this provider again."

"I guess the best I can say is that the job is done and the railing is secure. However for the price I paid I expected MUCH better craftsmanship and customer service. Although, initially he did come back twice to correct his poor workmanship ie: the plastic covering the spindles on the steps was not angled so they weren't secured (on multiple rungs). His answer was "I guess I wasn't paying enough attention", which at that point sent up a red flag. He NEVER came back to replace the part of the railing where the mitre cut was so off that I could have done better and the first thing I see when I walk out on my deck . See pictures below! I also want to add, that the ONLY time the owner of the company (who was my contact person) answered his phone was when he wanted my final payment. Otherwise, I had to leave a message and and wait a minimum of 3 days for return call. When the owner came out to see the work and showed him the big chip in my newly stained steps his answer was "things happen ". Never offering to fix it. The job was started on September 6th, "completed" only a few days later. Have been waiting since the beginning of October for the rest of the issues to be resolved and now it's the beginning of November. Once again....for the amount of money I paid I expected much better craftsmanship ship and customer service. SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!"

"Sub par work. Does not honor guarantee. Never do anything they say, lied constantly. Con artist. Tried to work with them for a year so they could correct workmansip that was not up to code. Only came and placed screws in floor board where George Olivers crew used nails. I would never suggest Anyone use this unreliable company"

"We are very happy with DeckMasters' work. Our deck was a massive project consisting of tearing down an old one tier that wasn't properly constructed by the original developer, so we needed a lot of TLC. Deckmasters came in and removed the old, dangerous deck in about two hours. The replacement two tier deck development started immediately and took onlyabout a week to replace. They worked for many hours a day and actually did so in some pretty bad weather. The noise was at a minimum and there was no mess afterward. They even came back a few weeks later to make sure the wood was all the same color before the staining commenced. We have referred many others to this company and are happy to have a safe and beautiful deck to show off! Thank you for your hard work!!"
