Welcome to White Thorn Lodge, a family-friendly nudist campground nestled in the serene hills of Western Pennsylvania. Conveniently located about an hour from Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Erie, Canton, and Wheeling, our lodge offers a peaceful and beautiful environment for your next getaway.

Experience Nature in Comfort and Style

Spread across more than 200 wooded acres, White Thorn Lodge provides a variety of camping options to suit your needs, from tents to cabins. Day passes are also available for those looking to experience our amenities for a shorter duration. Our modern facilities include a 40’ x 60’ clubhouse that serves as the social hub, complete with live music, DJs, special dinners, yoga sessions, and more. It’s the perfect place to make new friends and enjoy entertainment.

Recreational Activities for All Ages

White Thorn Lodge is equipped with a heated 28’ x 60’ swimming pool and a jetted hot tub, both fully handicapped accessible. Spend your day swimming, relaxing on the deck, or soaking in the hot tub. For those who love sports, we offer volleyball courts, pickleball courts, a tennis court, and a grass all-purpose playing field for cornhole and kickball events.

Community and Social Events

Join us on our large patio for Friday night socials, where you can meet other guests and catch up with friends. On cooler nights, gather around our modern, metal fire pit for a cozy evening. Our snack bar, managed by members, serves breakfast and lunch on weekends and holidays, with special dinner events throughout the summer.

Accommodations and Facilities

Our four rental rooms, built by our members, face the open camping area and offer a cozy place to stay. We recommend making reservations well in advance. The bocce court, children’s playground, and the idyllic pond area with a floating dock and pavilion are additional highlights of our property.

A Tradition of Family-Oriented Social Nudism

Founded in 1965 as the Western Pennsylvania Health and Athletic Association, Inc., White Thorn Lodge operates as a non-profit social club. Our mission is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for athletic, recreational, and social nudism. We have created a vibrant resort community that has been embraced by thousands of guests over the years.

Membership and Fees

Visitors to White Thorn Lodge are required to pay a Social Membership fee on their first visit each year, which covers the grounds fees for that day. This membership grants access to our resort’s amenities and is valid for the entire season. Additional camping fees apply for overnight stays. Full membership options are also available for those looking to become more involved in our community.
