Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Pittsburgh North 9600 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237

"The barbershop looked fun; the staff was very friendly; the gaming console was certainly different; and my sons both enjoyed a new experience. However, about two days after the cut, my wife and I realized they were on par with Great Clips (which is what we were venturing away from to try out a different and possibly better place). For such a quick and mediocre quality of cut, the price—double Great Clips’—was too expensive, and honestly not worth it. We could not do a cut without the shampoo and blow dry. The gaming console experience was not worth the higher price, and actually interfered with the cut a few times. The payment console was also aggravating in that it defaulted to 27% gratuity (which obviously we could change, but those extra steps), and then charged an extra $1.30 processing fee, paying with credit card. I won’t go back. $63.31 for two quick boys’ cuts is just not worth it. Great Clips it is. :-)"

"Took our son for his first actual hair cut, which was an hour drive from our house. We had Tori, and she was so patient when our 2, almost 3, year old wouldn’t sit still. She even let him test out the other cars! Everyone else was so nice and accommodating. They made an experience we will remember. We will definitely be going back. Definitely worth the drive!"

"Trust me - this is your kid's new hair cutters. The atmosphere is so welcoming for all ages, and unlike cookie cutters, it also caters to older children. The owner is kind and present, and staff are so warm and friendly, and fast and efficient! My son loved getting his hair washed like a grown up. He left with a complimentary lollipop, balloon and snack."

"This place is amazing!! Took my twin 4 year olds here. My girl had put putty in her hair so we had to cut it out. I didn’t think it could be fixed at all. But… they did! The stylist was caring, patient, professional and very talented! She talked me through the whole cut so it was just what I wanted. My boy loved the police car chair that actually had sirens! My twins are movers and shakers and they look great!! I didn’t feel judged at all by them being busy kids. They were so welcoming."
