"Well, I gave her 4 because ik she's amazing but I didn't get the Jane I was looking for. I truly want to give her a 2. I've wanted an excuse to work with Jane since I was a teen. We went to her to get prom dresses in about '06, I ended up not going that yr, by the time i did go to prom her shop was gone and I couldn't find her. Throughout the yrs I've been seeing friends tag her for their wedding or sweet 15 dresses, she's really the best and I was dying for my moment. Well, my moment came as Ive been shopping for Bridal. I messaged her on FB, called and left vms, emailed etc didn't get a response for months. Finally I called in dec and she picked up and we booked a consultation. I knew exactly what silhouette I was looking for, what color, what style, everything. She canceled on me same day NO BIG DEAL, because I was so tired, but we rescheduled and I didn't feel her heart was in it at all. Shes been through a lot recently with family losses and it shows in her work. She was super disorganized. I would've expected for her to have some designs handy and ready to go based on the look I told her, Instead we went through like a bunch of books and she wrote down tons of dresses on a piece of paper and said "I'll check these out for you", whatever that meant. She also stated that one has to be "flawless" to get in a mermaid silhouette. I was really surprised when she said that because that's incorrect, in fact depending on the style some mermaids will actually contour and hug a woman's curves flawlessly. My go to silhouettes are mermaids, or gowns that are tight and fitted on top and flowy at the bottom with off shoulders, because those flatter my curvy shape. I put on a lotta weight since my recent baby but I know my body type and what looks good on me. She didn't really notice my shape because I came in with a hoody,no bra, and sweats but she still shouldn't have said that because it's just not true. She did have SOME dresses on hand, but she explained that she doesn't have many which is understandable because shes a small boutique. i tried on a few, all but 1 were huge, I'ma 14/16 in pants, and so dresses I fit 16,18. depending on the dress. She was telling me my size was 22,24, I assumed maybe her collections ran small but all the dresses she was giving me were those sizes and they were huge and she had to tighten them so that I could see how they looked fitted, so she sized me wrong, And then suggested I lose 20lbs for the dress that was big on me it was bizarre. The only reason a couple of them werent coming past my bust was because the tulle skirt ( which I told her I hate tulle) was getting tangled and bunched up on the way down. So there were two dresses she had on hand that were gorgeous and very CLOSE to what I was looking for, she gave them to me (one was just a size bigger , and the other was pretty spot on in size ) she dimmed the lights, the dress sparkled and for a moment I felt the JANE experience that I was looking for. after that, a week later I went to Davids bridal and tried on some more silhouettes, I was a 16, or 18 in all their dresses, all 5 dresses looked great but I loved 2, I sent her pictures of those 2 and asked her if there was anything she could get me in that looked like those, because I wanted a to give her my business, she never replied, I inquired about 2 dresses on messenger, she never replied .I commented on her FB pg, no response. So weird. I was going to bring my girls here but I don't like to chase too much. I wish I would've gotten the chance to work with her a while ago when she was more on point."
"Jane was AMAZING!! Took my twins daughters to get their Quinceañera dresses. She took her time was so loving and understanding and even let us come again the next day when one of my daughter was uncertain about her selection. Her dresses very affordable. The fabric on the dresses and the dresses themselves are very good quality. She even sells all the accessories you may need for your special day. At this boutique they keeps your dress at there location if you need to until your special day and they even do tailoring. I recommend her 1000000%"
"I bought my Prom dress from Jane. She was a delight to be around and her dresses were affordable and gorgeous. I was at first off put that her business was in her basement. But I soon realized how legit her business is and how safe it is. But her address has changed so make sure you call in."
