"Do not follow the google maps directions, or at least not until the very end. You can park on the other side of the bridge at clear creek state forrest. Follow the trail down till you find a small grate bridge and follow signs to the overlook. So incredibly beautiful and worth the journey."
"Awe inspiring lookout point over the Allegheny River and the village of Kennerdell. We hiked this in October 2022 and the fall colors were magnificent! To reach this location you'll have to park at the Clear Creek State Forest-Kennerdell Tract parking lot (gravel parking lot at the end of Kennerdell Bridge). Then hike the trail along the river until you reach a creek with an open grate bridge. You'll want to turn left before the bridge on to Dennison Run Trail. After hiking down Dennison Run Trail for a bit, you'll reach a sign that points you to Overlook Trail (turn left). This is the most arduous part of hike as you'll be scaling a small mountain but you are rewarded with amazing views of the valley below once you reach the top! The yellow blazes on the trees dissappear as you reach the pinnacle but just follow the ridgeline until you see the overlook balcony. There are no restrooms for miles so be prepared for long periods of time without access to restroom facilities."
"Beautiful view of the allegheny river and the village of Kennerdale. There are a few ways to get there, we did a loop from the Kennerdale bridge. The climb up the side of the hill is steep, the trail is well marked."
"Nice overlook with views of Kennerdell and the Allegheny River. Long hike but worth the effort."
"Don't follow the Google Maps directions to get here, it directs you to the other side of the river and to fly the rest of the way. Park at the Westward side of the Kennerdall Bridge. Follow the trail along the river (very easy) to Dennison Run and make a left. Follow that trail up the side of the ridge (not easy). Signs at trail crossings show which way to the overlook."
