"Pastries A-La-Carte created a beautiful cake for our wedding day! Communication with them was easy and smooth throughout the planning process. We ordered both a gluten-free sheet cake and a sweetheart cake. The sheet cake was a hit - even our gluten-free guests raved about how moist and delicious it was! Our sweetheart cake was so tasty too. We did have a small hiccup when I picked up the cake - it was in a different system. But they brought the cake out and everything was fine. Despite that little scare, our cake looked and tasted perfect on the big day. The whole cake was beautifully decorated and added a lovely, sweet touch to our wedding. We were so pleased with their work and prices. I would happily order from Pastries A-La-Carte again!"

"Stopped here to purchase some sweets. I ended up buying 6 buckeyes and two Mousse bombs. The mousse bombs were gorgeous and delicious. They were priced a bit more than anticipated at $7.95 each. The buckeyes cost $9.50 for 6 and they look terrible. I would say I haven’t even seen buckeyes come out of home kitchens look worse than these. Were they good? Sure, peanut butter, sugar and chocolate, of course they were. But $9.50 and they look that haggard? I would really love to see Pastries-a-la-Carte start posting their prices and allowing their customers the option of making more informed purchase."

"My parents ordered my birthday cake from here and I was truly floored with it. First of all, the cake was so beautifully decorated that I almost felt bad cutting into it! I couldn’t believe all of the flowers were made out of icing. On top of that, the flavor was incredible (highly recommend the cookies & cream filling) - and it was probably the freshest cake i’ve ever had. 5 stars isn’t enough!"

"The prices are starting to get out of hand. I picked up my birthday cake and soon discovered why my mom paid ahead when she ordered it. While the cake looks great, I just can't justify $77 for a 10" cake. I support small business but for most people I would not suggest this for a birthday unless it was a more than usual occasion. The anniversary, wedding and themed cakes are more appropriate reasons for coming here. We have loved Pastries for many years but times are different now."
