"The ER staff were overwhelmed and it shows. They came off as cold and uncaring. I've always thought the clinic had the highest standard of care but my recent visit to this location tells me thats not true. They can not handle the volume of people coming into the ER. The staff is overwhelmed and rightfully so. They do not have the staff, equipment, and rooms to handle the volume of people in need. This produces upset patients and staff, resulting in bad experiences. I think the clinic should give this ER more resources to effectively and efficiently serve the community. The world renowned Cleveland Clinic can and should do better."

"Horrendous experience at this emergency room. Ladies at front desk were nice enough but that’s it so far. Looks like we will be here for hours before even being seen. This is in spite of the fact that we were sent here by our doctor T Cleveland Clinic in Lorain and they called ahead. My wife is in severe pain and they can’t even provide a place for her to lay down while waiting. We’ve been with Cleveland Clinic for many years and have always considered them to be a world class health center. This emergency room in Avon falls way short of their standards."

"Absolutely unacceptable treatment. I have taken my father here many times but tonight 6/9/24 has been completely unacceptable. We have been waiting almost 4 hours to be seen while people who have come after us with a stomach ache and a "sprained" wrist have gone back to be seen. The lady at the front desk is rude and useless. I understand that some cases are critical but this is ridiculous! A formal complaint will be filed."

"Always polite, friendly and helpful service. Free parking with valet services. I wasn't sure where I needed to go and where I should park. So I drove around until I could find a parking space, which was on the hospital side of the complex. I had to walk to the other side of the complex to get to my appointment. It wasn't an issue because I was early and didn't mind the extra steps. Once I entered, a person at the front desk assisted me to where I needed to go."

"This review is exclusively for the outpatient lab services. I was a walk in, decided to do some labs on my way home and it was closer to go here instead of main campus. I can only have a few tubes of blood drawn at a time, and the staff helped me figure out which ones would be appropriate and how many tubes it would be. I was called back almost immediately and the phlebotomist did an excellent job. Overall this was a wonderful and speedy experience! I waited locally at my nearby hospital for a blood draw last Friday and was there 1.5 hours, while here at Cleveland Clinic Avon I was in and out within 15 minutes."
