"If i could do 0 stars i would. I️ went to this practice and completed all requirements asked and got medical clearance from everyone. I made the necessary changes and all just to have come up with the outcome that i did in the end. Weeks after receiving all medical clearances a lady called me to schedule surgery i was excited, however a week or so later she called back and and was saying due to me having another insurance (that i got through my job back in january) other than medicaid (the insurance i started the program with) they weren’t going to send out the prior authorization because they send they weren’t going to waste their time knowing it would be denied by medicaid if my anthem insurance didn’t cover it being that they’ve seen it in the past. Idc what was in the past, everyone circumstances are different if medicaid covers it but anthem doesn’t still push the paperwork through and let me see that in writing. They won’t know what medicaid would say if they REFUSE to do their jobs and submit the prior authorization. I’ve spoken to the surgeon who really was no help, on their side rather than mine. Ig the insurance ladies have more authority over a doctor, surgeon rather. i spoken to patient relations who was on their side as well sending me a letter reiterating what the insurance ladies said. I’ve sent in many messages, calls trying to advocate for myself and no response from the insurance lady or surgeon which is very unprofessional. I had a lady message me saying that “my insurance has denied the surgery” when there was no claims put in through my insurance and canceled my surgery along with preop appointments. My thing is why not just send in the prior authorization and get an answer from medicaid instead of assuming what they might say. I’ve had this insurance since january, why as an insurance lady you didn’t do your due diligence before you called someone and got their hopes up and then deliver news like “you have to cancel that other insurance or we’ll have to cancel the surgery and give someone else that date” well if you were so experienced in insurance, you would have known you can’t just cancel insurance plans outside of open enrollment or a specific life event happening. When I spoke to patient relations it was like “who’s side are you on?” kind of deal so they were no help. I seriously this practice and the people in it needs to be investigated based off the reviews they are unprofessional, lazy, greedy and uncaring and those characteristics don’t mix when dealing with people’s bodies. I will continue to try and go further up until I get some real answers or until something gets done about how they treat their patients and gamble their lives."

"I would encourage anyone who needs help in weight loss to give this program a try. You will get excellent results if you listen to what they say. They are a very caring and compassionate team."

"In program 3 weeks. Scale not worked twice. Satisfied with staff videos. Very frustrated with scale and communication issues. Hate to drop out but husband out of work on FMLA. Finances strained and added issues with program add more stress. Will see how response to scale issue goes. Could make or break my remaining in program. Have lost on diet and going to gym. Maybe kick start is adequate. ."

"I'm a big fan of almost all the atrium branches and locations I find that they really do offer the most comprehensive care. However I Echo what a lot of other people have written on here and that weight management is certainly not the most effective or useful tool and honestly was the biggest waste of $250 I've ever spent. I actually dropped out of the program because I felt that there was no personalized care. It took me weeks to get my exercise from the trainer, I rarely knew who filled what role, and frequently needed to call the providers multiple times in order to get a hold of anybody. Most of the information that they offer can easily be Googled which is unfortunate because this is a lot of potential especially considering you can do it in tandem with your providers. It appears this Branch specifically based upon the reviews need some significant work in order to really help individuals."
