"I recently visited Maman and had a generally pleasant experience. The service from Dayvi and Robin was outstanding—they were both incredibly welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and the food was delicious. However, the air conditioning was an issue, making it uncomfortably warm inside. I found myself eating quickly due to the heat, and there were also some flies buzzing around, which was a bit off-putting. Overall, it was a good visit, but they definitely need to address the air conditioning problem."

"Maman’s decor is charming, but the food falls short. The avocado toast tasted preprepared and lacked freshness. They were also inflexible with order modifications; I couldn’t get mine without onions. The pastries weren’t freshly baked. Drinks were just okay. While the ambiance is nice, the food needs improvement."

I came back this morning, and I must say, the experience wouldn't have been the same without Robbin. Her kindness and attention made our time even more enjoyable. "In love with every single maman, but specially with this one. It has a little shop inside as soon as you enter and it’s never packed (at least any of the times I went). Service today was outstanding and the food, excellent as always. They should really sell that balsamic vinegar dressing that they use for the mixed greens. Is the best one I ever had (I even asked if it was for sale). I love that is laptop FREE. Because is such a nice spot, that you don’t want people around staying for ours just having one drink. My favorite thing from here is that you can order hot drinks and get them in MUGS! Almost no places in NYC or América offers you the chance to have your tea or coffee in mugs, which I personally don’t like. So that happening here, is a big plus! I got the smashed avocado tarting with smoked salmon on the side (presentation couldn’t be better) and greens with balsamic. My friend got make your own omelette that comes with greens and roasted potatoes on the side (home made ones!)"
