"We stayed here just 2 nights on our way "west". We are full-time travelers and realized we had not stayed anywhere in West Virginia yet, so my wife booked our stay here. Other than the horrible entrance road (go slow, and be careful), this was a nice stopover between Gettysburg, PA and Ohio. On arrival, we met Mark who led us to our site and helped get us settled. Because our stay was so short, we didn't see him (or Amy) again until I walked over to pay them. We had some nice chats during our time there, and I can tell they really enjoy their work and meeting and talking to people. The property is pretty, with the creek just across the road. Wish we could have stayed longer."
"Stayed in this campground for 9 months. Some of the best people you will ever meet running it. It is quiet and nestled in the woods but still only about 15 minutes from nice restaurants and shopping. Loved being able to hear the waterfall at night. The way the campground is set up almost every single site has the creek in front of it."
"Scenic, peaceful, quiet and SAFE spot away from the main roads—one road in keeps traffic to an absolute minimum. Mark is a wonderful and accommodating host and I loved meeting Peanut the cat. Mark also answered his phone at a time when others didn’t. The creek that runs through the property drowns out any truck noises but not birds in the morning. I’d definitely stay again."
"Nice quiet place with a small waterfall and a huge rock up the hillside. Everyone is super friendly and easy going. The roads a little rough but it keeps the cars from going fast in and out."
"Great campground, tired of being plugged in all of the time, unplug and unwind from all of those electronics here, nestled between two of the rolling hills in northern WV, cell phone service is spotty and that was fine with us. A great relaxing weekend and the owners, Mark and Amy were great, small mom and pop owned campground, only 12 full hookup sites with babbling creek across the road from campsites, fabulous quiet place, will definitely go back again."
