"This doctor saw my daughter as her inpatient neurologist. He sent his interns in hours ahead of timeTo get a workup on her.He came in hours later Introduced himself and just started stating what he was going to do for my daughter. He spoke about changing all of her medication to liquid because he stated he was informed "she couldn't swallow". I advised him he was incorrect . My daughter also has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. AfterHe started to do his bedside exam,He kept trying to point out to me that "Mom she has left side weakness did you notice this?" I said this is not a new symptom,She had a stroke when she was 2 days old, she has left side partial paralysis, this was stated SEVERAL TIMES .ThenThey stated that she would have rescue meds to go home with for the seizures.Stated to me that She needed to be seen in 5 days in his office. He informed us that she would be staying another dayAnd that the results of the MRI were not back.5 minutes later, a nurse came in with discharge papers and sent us home.I tried for 2 days afterwardsTo get an appointment at this office and they told me the soonest appointment was 4 months from now,When the office staff finally called me back (after 2 days and 2 voicemals) The lady was rude and condescending and said the doctor had "no idea what I was talking about", that he said 3 months for an appt".I advised her that he was loopy acting at the hospital and unclear with any direction. She just went silent and said "so do you want to make the appointment or not?" I only made the appointment So I could have something in place to try to find another neurologist.I would not recommend this man. Just based on our Hospital experience and two days worth of experience out of the hospital trying to follow up with what he said he wanted. He seems disconnected with his patients and "in a rush" he is NOT thorough and has a sad bedside manner. When you look for a great neurologist, DON'T LOOK AT HIM!"
"Dr. Andrefsky was great. Kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and not in a rush. His Parma office staff has been very responsive and quickly returned all phone calls and provided thorough answers."
"I wish I could give separate reviews of the doctor vs the office staff. I have found Dr. Andrefsky to be incredibly thorough, caring, and willing to spend time really thinking about my condition and the best course of treatment. I have only positive things to say about him. On the other hand, I find the office staff incredibly difficult to interact with, especially at the Medina office. They are cold, hurried, and just plain rude at appointments. They are even worse on the phone, when they do answer. They do not return phone calls, and it took me over 2 weeks to get my prescription refills after fighting with the office manager who was trying to change my meds over the phone without letting me speak to the physician. It's such a shame that such a good physician has such rude people working for him. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere, for this reason alone."
"I went to see this doctor regarding my migraines, he told me he thinks I have chronic migraine, prescribed me medicine, told me to get an MRI and MRA and make an appointment in 6 months. I feel like this doctor does not have time for me or my illness that is DAILY, medicine is not working, have been staying home from work sick because of my head, but am suppose to wait 6 months to see him. After reading reviews on reviews on this doctor, I wish I would've read them sooner. I wasted $50 on a copay to get medical attention from this doctor, and I will be going elsewhere."
"Dr. Andrefsky was very through in trying to find out what was wrong with me. He has a great bedside manner. I feel very confident in his abilities as a doctor. I trust him and that is the most important thing you can say about your doctor."
