"I have used Dr. Zhang’ s dermatological services since 2009, including skin checks, biopsies, and surgical interventions, and tapped her resources to improve skin rashes, hair, and nail quality. Dr. Zhang is most knowledgeable, effective, efficient, patient, and understanding. Dr Zhang listens to her patients and is one of a kind. In my book, Dr. Zhang deserves a 5+ star rating. In addition to the expert services of Dr. Alex Zhang, her office staff, and cleanliness of the office is certainly commensurate with the expert services that Dr. Zhang renders."

"I was referred to Dr Zhang(at Akron Derm) in 2017 after a spot of Basal Cell was found on the bridge of my nose. (I had experienced a very unpleasant Basal removal from my scalp in 2012 from a plastic surgeon.) It took 3 rounds of MOHS that day but all was removed and I was sent home with clear instructions, pain meds and antibiotics. The incision itself healed beautiful, if you were unaware of this you would have no idea there is a small scar tucked along the side of my nose! So when a concerning spot arose on my scalp in Spring 2024 I was not overly shocked to hear the biopsy diagnosis and get the referral for MOHS again. By this time there are a few clinics closer in distance, but I would rather drive a little further for care I am confident in. Dr Zhang looked at the location on my scalp and was determined to do everything she could to salvage the hair follicles and prevent a bald/scar spot noticeable to the world. The healing and recovery experience was 100% different than that first scalp removal of 2012. Dr Zhang was available for my questions of why she did things the way she did, clearly explained my discharge treatment instructions and her end goal. I laughed at my follow up today when Dr Z clapped her hands and bounced with excitement to see my quarter sized, 2 inch long *mohawk* of regrowth, proof that she DID salvage my follicles like she hoped!"
