"Rooms are kept very clean, and they have a good location. Restaurant had excellent customer service, and the food was very good for breakfast. Lacking hotel customer service. Check out time is 10 am.. Was not informed.. went down to have breakfast, and when I returned, all my perishable items were trashed, and the rooms were being cleaned. Spoke to the manager about the situation, and she could care less, she said check out time was 10 am, and I should have been notified at check in."
"Nice rooms but quite small. No internet access in the rooms is very disapointing for the biggest hotel in town."
"Couldn't ask for a better location, you can literally walk here from the airport or port. Very classy feel, very fitting theme and decorations. WARNING: AC did not work, and it was hot at night during the heatwave. WIFI is spotty at best, and internet/cell reception gets better once the big boats leave for the day."
"Places to stay in Skagway are already limited and this ended up being the only dog friendly place we could find, so we greatly appreciated that! The staff was really friendly and the room was nice, however the hotel was very noisy and the walls thin. No wifi in the rooms and no AC so we had the windows open which only added to the extra noise."
"The staff at Westmark were some of the friendliest, sincere, and helpful people I have met. Truly a great welcome. The room was clean and well-maintained. The only con is that the walls are very thin, we could hear everything at night (tv, walking, talking)."
