The Swaying Spruce

"I cannot say enough good things about this experience. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Arctic Poppy cabin during our Skagway trip, and it was everything the website said it would be. (Read the cabin descriptions!!) A tiny, intimate little getaway. Easy self check-in, bikes provided, electricity, toilet, BBQ. The best (!!) part about this was the owners/management. Jesse drove us to the ferry terminal early in the morning before our ship. I left my new coat in the cabin and Kendra was able to bring it down from the cabin to the ferry terminal for me before we boarded. They are extremely welcoming and helpful! Best accommodations in Skagway. Note: if you don’t have a car, can’t ride a bike, and are a “Marriott” traveler, just buy a cruise. Welcome to Alaska."

"This place was PERFECT for a little week long retreat! My significant other works in Skagway for the season and I came up for his birthday. We rented the Forget Me Not cabin for just shy of a week. Its beautiful!! The surroundings are beautiful! You have just about everything you need already in the cabin. (Only thing I wanted that I didnt have was an oven to make a birthday cake (which most people dont do on vacation, obvs), but there is a grill right off the porch, theres a hot plate inside, a mini fridge, etc. You have everything you need to cook here for an extended period of time minus the oven). The owners were lovely and gave us complete privacy. There are two adorable dogs that live on the property, but they'll leave you alone if you dont want to call them over. The bikes they provide are all in excellent condition and it's only about a mile and a half into town. You definitely want to stay here!!!!!"

"Cozy, clean, & comfortable with a beautiful view! We absolutely loved our stay at the Swaying Spruce. The owners were so nice & welcoming, attending to every detail to make our stay simply wonderful. It was the perfect place to relax and cook with the family after a big day of adventuring! "Excellent place to stay in Skagway! The cabin was so clean and was well equipped with dishes and cooking utensils. Kendra and Jesse were gracious hosts. They provided transportation to and from the train depot and had great bikes we borrowed to get around town! We loved staying at the Swaying Spruce!"

"Great Rustic Get Away One room cabin with a modern bath was very rustic, warm, and well maintained. The owners were great, picked us up from the airport, drove us to town when we were leaving, had bikes available to ride into town. Their dog and children were very friendly. If we would have had a car to drive into town I would have stayed our entire stay in Skagway at The Swaying Spruce. Loved it!"
