Reviews
"Our family has had an amazing experience with Valley School of Music. My daughter has been going there weekly for singing lessons for almost two years and our instructor is not only talented but also incredibly supportive. Valley School of Music creates a positive and encouraging environment. I highly recommend them."
"I’ve had three children in weekly piano, drums, and guitar lessons since June 2019. Valley School of Music instructors are competent and professional in their teaching ability, payment system, and lesson scheduling. The teachers are flexible, kind, and patient. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking to learn an instrument."
"Lessons through Choice Scholarship for my son. Staff very unprofessional. Texted passed 9:30pm the night before lesson to cancel because "they had to drive their mom to the airport." Too much unnecessary, unrelated information. They gossip like high school school kids when they're middled aged. When we tried rescheduling we were told that our son "isn't the right fit." Complaint filed with State of AK Commision for Human Rights. Businesses operating in Alaska and receiving funding from AK Native Organizations should be more knowledgeable and able to act professionally. The lessons weren't even that helpful, either. My son has learned more watching youtube tutorials at home than he ever did during their overpriced half hour sessions. My son told me his instructor often left to use the restroom, too. There is nothing wrong with that of course, but when it comes out of a 30 minute lesson, they should work late to make up for their break."
"Called and emailed multiple times to see about music lessons for my kids. No response or attempts to respond. Horrible customer service."
"I learned piano, guitar, violin and vocals here. All of my teachers were happy to teach me my own favorite songs."
