"Staff are friendly and nice and very outgoing, my kids go here and they both love to come to school, I have had trust issues with having my kids go to daycare, at first it was rough but they came around and just loved their teachers and going to daycare, Everyday when my kids are picked up the first thing (besides hi dad or mom) my daughter would say is “I like my teacher”, she would sing, count and dance to show what she learned and did at school, our son has progressed a whole with writing his name and coloring and how he cuts paper and uses scissors. I am happy they are here at Northernlights preschool because my kids are happy with going here. I rated 5 stars because my kids are happy here and they love coming school and love their teachers."
"ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY! This daycare (not a school unless you pay extra) only cares about one thing! MONEY! They charge full time rates for part time hours. They never give credit even when substantial hours are missed but always charge for everything possible. They don’t care about how long a student has been there or how good of a client you are. They want every dime they can get. Also, be very cautious as there are constantly drug addicts hanging around the place with the Bingo hall being right there. Made us feel very unsafe. Update: after considerable research, there are numerous providers in the area who provide part time care at a fraction of the cost. I have found five providers in the same vicinity who charge $200-$300 LESS per month. For single parents or parents who struggle with the high cost of care - this provider in my experience and opinion, isn’t worth it. They make me sick."
"I not only work here, but my beautiful 10 year old daughter goes here. She is in the before and after school program. I have been working here since October 2018. The staff is friendly and Ms. Su and Mr. Charlie rock. If I did not love working at NLPS, I wouldn’t be here this long. NLPS does care about their staff and the kids that comes here."
"My son’s been going to this daycare since he was 2 and he’s now 7. The staff are super nice and caring. Miss Sue, the owner, has a huge heart, and she cares for all the kids there. They were extra helpful during the school closure due to the covid pandemic. All the staff worked hard to ensure their school age kids were attending there zoom classes. Also, their tuition is very reasonable especially with them providing breakfasts and lunches along with lots of snacks for the kids. The meals are not some regular cafeteria meals, they’re actually pretty great food."
"My daughter attended from 15months until Kindergarten and loved all her teachers. She learned so much and continues to stop by often to visit the ones that are still there. She enjoyed the different activities and centers each aged class provided and especially loved her graduation that is made very special for each graduating student. Many including her have also continued attending during the summer months. Our experience was of a very caring and warm environment for her and she has stayed in touch with some teachers that are no longer there. I am very grateful, as a working mother, to have found a place and staff I felt comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of."
