"Went to store on October 1, 2023 as a cruise ship passenger. Purchased an item, wanted to exchange without leaving the store (my receipt was in my hand) after the store manager had cut off the tag. Manager then refused to exchange the item, saying the item had no tag. All cruise ship passengers stay away from their store!! Rip off artist."
"We went on a cruise and I loved this shop. I bought all my souvenirs there. The quality of the shirts and the prices are wonderful."
"Nestled in the heart of Juneau, the Alaska Juneau Mining Company is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. From the moment you step inside, you're transported into a world of wonder and adventure that's impossible to resist. This store is not just your average gift shop – it's a haven for those seeking unique treasures that capture the spirit of Alaska. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a breathtaking display of apparel, souvenirs, and curiosities that celebrate the essence of this beautiful region. From intricate handcrafted jewelry that sparkled like glacier ice to rustic wooden carvings that seemed to whisper tales of the wilderness, every corner was a testament to the rich culture and history of Alaska. And then, there it was – the Creative Unicorn Beanie that stole my heart. A burst of color and whimsy in a corner dedicated to hats, this beanie was a true work of art. Soft pastel hues blended seamlessly to form the majestic unicorn, its mane flowing like the Northern Lights. It was a piece that not only warmed my head but also ignited my imagination. The Alaska Juneau Mining Company doesn't just offer products; it offers experiences. The way they've curated the space, seamlessly blending traditional and contemporary elements, creates a sense of enchantment. It's a place where you can lose yourself for hours, discovering treasures that speak to your soul. The staff, much like the store itself, exudes warmth and friendliness. Their knowledge about the products and their passion for the local culture added an extra layer of depth to my visit. It's clear that they take pride in helping visitors find the perfect memento that captures their Alaska experience. Whether you're a traveler seeking a piece of Alaska to take home, or a local looking to reconnect with your roots, the Alaska Juneau Mining Company is an absolute must-visit. With its wide array of offerings, each more captivating than the last, this store is a celebration of everything that makes Alaska special. And as for that Creative Unicorn Beanie? Well, it's not just an accessory; it's a symbol of the magic that awaits within these walls. Prepare to be enchanted, inspired, and ultimately, a little bit in awe of the treasures that the Alaska Juneau Mining Company holds. Your journey to this store will be nothing short of unforgettable."
"Prices were misleading sign said one price item rang in at almost twice what the posted price. Spoke to manager was told by manager if I did not like it shop at one of the other stores. She was very rude. Now I realize when the cruise ships are in the port they have an abundance of business but keep treating your customers like that and people will stop going to your shop .So I did go elsewhere paid less at second store which was locally owned ma n pa shop and ended up spending a further couple hundred bucks at the second store. Sure won't go back there when we are back."
"Very nice gift shop! This was our first time visiting Juneau, and we visited this gift shop, and various others. This one was large and had a very large selection of souvenirs. Prices were comparable to other shops. Definitely recommend checking this one out, and note that it can get a little busy. But overall, it's a great store!"
