"Take your work literally anywhere else. He installed a muzzle brake on my rifle and the brake blew up first time shooting it. Vince inspected it and said there was leftover metal shavings that caused it. He then put one of his “custom” brakes on the rifle while I waited for my new brake to get in. I then had to go back and forth with him for a couple weeks before getting him to install the brake. He told me there was no damage to the rifle. Fast forward to now I’ve taken the rifle to another gunsmith who says there was damage to the rifle, needing the barrel on my $2,000 rifle needing to be cut down. Scope mount also not great. Would not recommend. I’m probably $700 into muzzle brakes and what I paid him and what it’s going to cost to have a competent gunsmith do the work. Oh, and the directional brake he installed was installed upside down."
