"Mildew and peeling paint in the window seat, shaved hair remnants on the bathroom sink/counter, thick dust on the ceiling fan, sketchy stains on the sofa... definitely not as well kept/maintained as they were a few years ago. Pretty disappointing but stil a great location. Parking is extremely limited and parking lot is not maintained well at all."

"Nope! Not gonna do that again & don’t recommend anyone else to stay here. Falling apart & dirty, with black mold (see pics) bed was so hard & the room was so hot! You do not control the heat, they do. We had to open the window to cool the room down & close it when we went to sleep which caused a sleepless night along with the mattress that ranked right up there with sleeping on the hard ground. Oh, & the bathroom door would not shut."

"I couldn't afford the rates in Anchorage so I found this hotel. A national chain were i felt secure. Very quiet. For 2 weeks they were exceptionally pleasant. When I pay 60-70$ a night I don't expect the Ritz-Carlton. Don't believe any of the negatives. Usually it's folks thinking they are so special."

"This place is in rough shape, and semi clean. You could tell the floors weren't vacuumed and the rooms were somewhat cleaned. There were cracked up the walls everywhere. When we got to the room, it didn't look like the bathroom was very well cleaned with dirt on the floor and somehow a redbull can and other stuff shoved in the ceiling vent. The fridge stank and there was neon pink hair on the bed. The walls are thin so you could hear the sled dog team outside barking. After we checked out, almost a week later, they tried charging us an extra 100 dollars (I only know this because I had my card turned off and it declined) I called and asked why and no one knew and said it never happened. I took a video of the place and I made sure they knew that. So if you stay there, make sure you get pictures. I would only stay here out of necessity but wouldn't trust not getting charged extra."

"The location is good! We have stayed here several times and although it’s cheap and we don’t expect much this time it was worse. Staff was uninterested and unhelpful, lights (electrical) issues all night. And not even a working shower, and I don’t mean low pressure I mean shower didn’t work at all!!! Breakfast was terrible. Cleanliness lacked. Staff did NOTHING to try to make it right! Ok we can stand not real clean, not the great breakfast, but really NO working shower and electrical issues is a problem!"
