"Juneau was named the capital of Alaska in 1906, when the government of what was then the District of Alaska was moved from Sitka as dictated by the U.S. Congress in 1900"
"This place does not exist. It is a chiropractors office. The visitors center is located at the cruise ship dock. This error cost me money since I used this address to get an Uber ride to somewhere that didn't exist anymore."
"The lady is working there are super nice and helpful. We were looking for a free wifi spot to update our phone. She told us the free wifi is available at the public library and the Alaska State Museum. We finally got our phone fixed at the Museum. Too bad we didn't get her name. As a visitor, we feel the warmest welcome from the city visitor center. Highly recommend to all visitor to stop by this location and get local visiting info."
"M&M Tours that operate out of Juneau and Shagway are rip offs. Do not use them unless you like to be lied to and belittled by owner Mark Jennings. They totally misrepresented their services and lied to me. When I called Mark to complain he treated very badly. Stay away from M&M Tours."
"JCVB is one of the best organizations for our business. I am delighted at the service they provide to both their members and visitors alike. The staff is very knowledgeable and just as excited as we are to make the visitor's experience their very best."
