"I primarily shop here due to the proximity to my home and that usually it's not crazy busy when I go in (and they always have my husbands particular brand of milk) But I am BEYOND frustrated with my experience trying to simply place a pickup order since we are sick. The payment portal won't accept my card info (it's all correct) and locked me out of imputing it. I called my bank and they assured me the funds are available and Carrs hasn't sent any payment requests for them to block. No one on the phone could help, sent me to 3 other calls lines and was told to try the app, or a different browser. I did both and got the same issue. So I guess I'm SOL but I am just flooded that no one can simply take an over the phone payment or a mobile card reader."

"Update: Prices are ridiculously through the roof here, compared to Costco, Fred Meyer and Walmart. I waited to write this review to see if the prices would reflect their competitors. I've always shopped here for convenience. My wife usually handles the Costco run. For as long as I can remember, this store has been 24 hours. This place is starting to get annoying. With prices through the roof and now not being a 24-hour location like they were in the past, I need to limit my shopping here."

"Dear East Anchorage Carr's pharmacies, Please take note of the excerpt below taken from an email I received TODAY regarding flu and vaccination shots: "Schedule online or simply stop by, and we'll say thanks with 10% off your next grocery purchase." The words "OR SIMPLY STOP BY"...meaning that an appointment is NOT REQUIRED. Especially when there is NO ONE else there waiting in the waiting room or at the counter. After YEARS of getting my flu shot at Carr's, don't you dare tell me that I must have an appointment. Not under these circumstances of which I have mentioned above."

"Prices are overly marked up compared to Fred Meyers down the street, prices are all 10% higher than displayed online, store does not offer price match, and Catherine the Manager at the Customer Service is a Karen, and makes small interactions a pain."
