"Larry’s was 1hr 40min late to the appt during a workday and failed to let me know they were running late. Their service tech and his assistant were perfectly professional and quick. The bill for a kitchen sink clog that took a snake, a few fittings (20-30$ worth at most) and 30-45min of their time cost 385$. I believe you’ll find better value with All American heating and plumbing."
"Original estimate/quote to replace all 12 water baseboards, agreed to quote. Installation started and all but 2 bdrms were completed, and I informed them if close to budget not replace 2 small non-functioning baseboards in another area. I received bill and called saying job wasn't completed yet. So arrangements were made to finish. Once completed I paid the invoice of $5700. Only to get addl. invoice of $2550! Not on original quote. I wouldn't have done project had it been $2550 more than I was quoted. Called and they said they swore I knew, even tenant agrees they didn't have product to finish job (Home Depot out of stock) and she knew they didn't complete it. Not once was I told it would be $2550 more. Very disappointing cause I have been a loyal customer to Larry's since 1993. I don't agree and wonder if anyone else has had this issue. I will not give them any more business ever."
"Called Friday morning to get heat fixed. Explained the importance of the situation due to having a week old baby at home. Was willing to pay the extra fee for an after hours visit. Got a call back around 2pm saying they can get someone out there earlier. No one showed or called to cancel. They were willing to allow me to go without heat for an entire weekend. I am horrified by the service. Edit: called back on Monday since no one returned the voicemail I left Friday evening. No one answered on Monday so I left another voicemail. Still no response from the company. Absolutely horrible customer service/company. I highly recommend Jack's"
"Communication and professionalism was lacking to non-existent with this company. 1. Nearly an hour late for an appointment with no phone call about late-ness. For an 8:30AM appointment. 2. Front Desk did not care nor provide the basic level of professionalism or customer care regarding lateness. 3. Tech did not inform customers of after-effects/issues from maintenance. ie. Diesel was spilled by the furnace air intake. This caused the whole house to be flooded with diesel fumes. We have two dogs at home. This is not OK, especially without being informed of the possibility. 4. Upon calling to follow up when #3 was discovered, Front desk was again exceptionally not-caring and rude. They seemed more annoyed that we dared to call again. The tech eventually called us back and informed us of the situation. He was very helpful. However, this should have been communicated before leaving the site."
"Terrible communication, poor service, expensive, and utterly unwilling to work with you. I requested a service, explained what had been done already and what I wanted done. Larry's came in and redid what had already been done and did not do what was requested. When they sent the bill I called them to explain what they did was wrong. They refused to work with me, even after I offered partial payment. The problem was still not fixed. I had another plumber come out, do what I requested Larry's to do, and the issue was fixed for a third of the cost. Larry's continued to refuse working with me sent me to collections after not responding to multiple requests for a reduced bill. They said they'd get back to me. When I asked them why they sent me to collections they said that I didn't follow up enough with them. I paid the collection agency. Do better business."
